Sep 29, 2009 · I’ve always had a hotspot for the last 4 years or so up until a month or 2 ago. Same with my girlfriend who is also on MetroPCS (unlimited but on a separate plan). Only way i found to bypass it is using tetherme and a VPN but, like you said having to use a VPN sucks. My problem is a bit different from yours but fuck T-mobile.
